In this series "The Mojave Girl" will take you on a trip around
the Mojave desert. Each show will be an adventure. The
Mojave Desert holds many treasures of the past, is on the
cutting edge of space travel, the future of exciting things to
come and so much more.
Many pioneers from our history have lived, worked, and
played in Mojave Desert. Todays Pioneers and future
pioneers to come will make the Mojave Desert their place of
choice to lead us into the future on many fronts.
The Mojave Desert is home to the future growth of our
general population. While we take you on this journey
through out the Mojave desert, you'll see how cities our
springing up miles from the urban draw. You'll see how
people cope with isolation, the lack of basic services and the
politics of small town growth.
You'll learn how they co-habitat with the desert wild life. How
the human population growth effects the wild life population,
how water is crucial to desert life and the survival of our
endangered species .
You'll learn how wind and solar energy is spotting our desert
landscape. The good and the bad of it's existence.
The Mojave Desert is also loaded with recreational pastimes
for all to enjoy. Will take you to the hart beat of Gambling,
motor cross, skiing, horse back riding, space travel, Meteor
hunting and star gazing.
